Anti-Racism & Multiculturalism
Building inclusive communities where every woman belongs
Our Anti-Racism and Multiculturalism program confronts the systemic barriers that hold women and families back. Through education, advocacy, and safe community spaces, we help Black, Indigenous, and racialized women understand their rights, find their voice, and access the resources they deserve.
Racism shapes access to housing, employment, healthcare, and justice. CAVIWO works at the community level to dismantle those barriers through honest dialogue, cultural education, and practical advocacy.
We partner with legal clinics, settlement agencies, and policy advocates to ensure the women we serve are heard, represented, and protected. Our workshops create brave spaces where lived experience is honoured and turned into collective action.
