About this event
One of the activities of CAVIWO is serving the elderly mothers in our community, especially the widows. From time to time, we gather them to tap from their wisdom and to spread the love of God through service and nourishing them. Most of the time they stay at home to assist with our kids and that can be hard for them as they are way past retirement ages in Canada. They usually feel lonely and isolated compared to where they come from, and so bringing them together adds smiles to their faces and gives them a taste of their cultural values of community life. This event took place on December 29th, 2018, and we hope to keep bringing these mothers together as often as we can.
